Private Lessons in Beginner Embroidery

Skills are best passed from hand to hand, an experienced instructor patiently guiding the beginner to find the rhythm of a craft. While we seek to offer an intimate and personal environment in our TATTER classes, there really is no substitute for the one-on-one attention that has turned from default to luxury in an era where so few are able to do those arts which were once the substance of daily life.

In beginner embroidery, a TATTER staff teacher and embroidery artist will sit down with you and up to two people of your choosing, either at the TATTER library or in your home, and teach you the basics of embroidery. You will set the pace and are encouraged to bring examples of projects you would like to begin working on during the lesson. Your teacher will instruct you in best practices and encourage your creativity.

Includes:

  • Private workshop for up to 1-3 people at TATTER or in your home

  • All materials provided

RETAIL VALUE: $300
